Amazing place! We had soup, chowder, a main course, and desserts as well. All of the dishes were perfect. The owner and staff were so nice and kind. I’d highly recommend this place!

Thank you very much!

I was very disappointed with our recent visit. We ordered four chowders, and unfortunately, none of them met expectations, especially considering their reputation. The dishes were overwhelmingly dominated by onions, which seemed to make up the majority of the contents. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of seafood; in my case, there was very little fish in the chowder.
The pizza we ordered for the children was also disappointing, as the toppings did not hold together and fell off immediately when lifting a slice.
While the quality of the food was not satisfactory, I would like to note that the staff were excellent—friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
Overall, spending approximately €160 for the meal felt unjustified given the experience.....

Response from the owner

We would, however, like to clarify a few points. Your group arrived after our lunch service had officially finished, and although our last lunch orders are normally at 3:00pm, we still accommodated your party of 10. We did this as a gesture of goodwill because we always try our best to look after guests, even outside normal service hours.

Regarding the seafood chowder, it was prepared fresh and to our usual recipe, which is known for being generously served with seafood. We take the quality of this dish very seriously, so we were disappointed to read your comments, as they do not reflect the standard we consistently serve.

In relation to the children’s pizza, we removed it from the bill at the time of your visit, despite this not being a complaint we have previously received, because we wanted to respond fairly in the moment.

We do appreciate your kind words about our staff, who always work hard to provide warm and attentive service. While we respect that every guest is entitled to their opinion, we do feel this review does not fully reflect the circumstances of your visit or the efforts made by our team to accommodate your group.

We wish you all the best.

I very rarely don't finish my food, this was not one of those times. I originally tried to order the ciabatta for lunch but it wasn't in stock. Then ordered the Teriyaki Salmon poke bowl.

Why does the poke bowl have cous cous? I questioned it and was told that's how it's done there. The avocado was old, the cucumber, just cucumber, basically no seasoning. Good cut of salmon to be fair, but I didn't expect it to be a lump, rather sliced. Basically had no seasoning on it. But good quality fish cooked well.

Also there was roast potatoes in it for some reason? I just don't understand it. Never had a poke bowl like it before.

Also 17 euro.

Response from the owner

We’re sorry to hear that our Teriyaki Salmon Poke Bowl was not to your taste. Our version of this dish is served with cous cous rather than rice, as this is our own signature style, and it has proved very popular with many of our guests.

That said, we understand that if you were expecting a more traditional poke bowl, it may not have been what you had in mind. We appreciate your comments regarding the avocado, seasoning and overall balance of the dish, and we will certainly take them on board with our kitchen team.

We do appreciate your positive note on the quality and cooking of the salmon, and thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.
